About Us

JPEG Carpentry Ltd is a family-run Cotswold based business, formed in 2016 by Jake and Sadie Pegler.

Jake has worked in the carpentry industry for over 16 years and after working across numerous sites he noticed a huge gap in the market for a high end, pride in the job carpentry contractor. It was at this point he decided to use his skill, passion and enthusiasm to set up his own carpentry firm.

Sadie has over 14 years of experience in both business to business and consumer customer services, as well as bookkeeping and administration and runs the office for JPEG full time.

Since starting the business, JPEG has built a strong rapport with numerous developers and has completed several carpentry contracts.

We won our first contract with Edenstone Homes at their premium site in Horsley, completing the carpentry aspect on 16 high spec homes. The site provided the opportunity to show our high standards of work and fantastic team working attitude which led us on to winning further contracts with Edenstone Homes and their sister company Bluebell Homes. The success of these sites meant we could confidently introduce ourselves to numerous other developers and as our reputation and company has grown, our success in winning tenders has continued. Below is a list of some of the sites we have successfully tendered and completed the carpentry contracting for.

Sealey Wood, Horsley - 16 units for Edenstone Homes

River View Garden Village, Lydney - 85 units for Bluebell Homes

The Kites Nest, Stroud - 7 units for HDL Group

St Mary's Garden Village, Ross-on-Wye - ongoing (Currently 200 units for Edenstone/Bluebell)

Phillips Grove, Yatton Keynell - 7 units for Princeton Homes

Highfield Farm, Tetbury - 5 units for AC Nurden

Jubilee Place, Tetbury - 9 units for HDL Group

Bleadon  Quarry, Weston-Super-Mare - 42 units for Edenstone Homes

Chedworth - 2 premium units for HDL Group

It is extremely exciting that as JPEG has expanded it has managed to remain a family business where each employee and sub-contractor is seen as an extension of the Pegler family. This is a key value of our business and we owe a huge thanks to our team, who we couldn't have got to this point without.
